EURAM 2009 CSR Track - “Corporate Social Responsibility : Towards a new governance mode in a post-Fordian context”
European Academy of Management - Liverpool, UK on May 11-14, 2009
Michel Capron (Paris VIII), Jean-Pascal Gond (Nottingham),Jean Pasquero (UQAM Montreal) and Julienne Brabet, IRG, University Paris XII are organising a special CSR track for the EURAM 2009 conference: “Corporate Social Responsibility : Towards a new governance mode in a post-Fordian context”.
The track runs over 5 sessions. Its purpose is to explore the conditions under which Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) can efficiently contribute to the advent of a new form of societal governance in replacement of the fading “Fordian compromise” typical of the mid-20th century (Business-Government-Unions governance of socio-economic matters).
The aim is bringing together scholars from various fields of the social sciences (management, law, sociology, economics, political science, social psychology), but sharing a common interest for CSR and institutionalization processes, in order to explore the diverse dimensions of this question. All papers drawing on theoretical and /or empirical research addressing this issue are welcome.
