ACUA Special Interest Group, 28 March 2007, DTI Conference Centre, London
New Generation Corporate Universities and Academies: Developing a Global Perspective on Quality and Standards to Achieve Excellence
EABIS Members are invited to express interest in participating at the above Special Interest Group (SIG), which is being held on Wednesday 28th March 2007 at the Department of Trade and Industry Conference Centre in London.
This ACUA SIG event sets-out to explicate the factors that are shaping the quality of corporate university and academy interventions and promote a code of best practice. Differences can be a barrier to the determination of Corporate University & Academy Quality Standards but they can also provide the inspiration for new ideas in the local setting.
The SIG introduces three key-note speakers whose knowledge and experience is at the leading edge in dealing with the issues and factors in and around the subject area. Their presentations will define interesting considerations in the design of a code practice for business inspired training, education and situation learning, for example, between Europe and the USA and in the UK.
The 3 Keynote Speakers are:
- Dr. Bianka Lichtenberger, Managing Director, FIBAA www.fibaa.com
“Quality Assessment in the Design and Management of Corporate Universities”
- David Rose - MD Innovation Associates & Ecuanet Contract Manager www.ecuanet.info
“Developing and accrediting best practice - how and why”
- Brian Stevens, Director FEdS Consultancy Limited www.signposterprogramme.co.uk
“Policy Interface dynamics: the need for change – using the Goodison Group and the Signposter Programme as exemplars”
All SIG delegates will have the opportunity to add their experience and comment on the way forward in establishing quality standards that will underpin a corporate university professional accreditation methodology that is commensurate with the challenges posed by the dynamics of global competition.
Full details for the event can be found at www.corporateuniversity.org.uk/acua/events.htm
Places will be limited, so please respond as soon as possible if you are interested in naming a delegate.
